Interesting question that...
Well, here's a fact for you - an average two story house is about 6 metres high.
I was 21 metres (or 69 feet in old money) up in the air in a two man cherry picker taking this shot - and a few more...
For me, that is categorically, and most definitely "high"
Heights don't generally bother me, but I did feel a bit exposed and a tad vulnerable when the wind picked up - thankfully I had my reassuring comfort blanket of my cameras with me. Ahhhh :-)
By looking at the world through my lens I removed myself from it, just a bit, but that was enough. My instincts kicked in and I went onto auto pilot - shooting calmly and confidently - simply bumping up the shutter speed to cancel out the wind. I even enjoyed it :-D
If you found yourself in a "precarious" business situation - whats your coping strategy? Does your auto pilot kick in?
So - do you get high?....
