Videos are so useful…

With all the social distancing guidelines and safety protocols we’ve seen over the past year - so many service providers have had to take their information online.

Take schools and colleges for example, open evenings stopped. Completely. But prospective students, parents and carers still had questions and a thirst for information - so “virtual” ones were needed.

Brooksbank Sixth Form wanted to show how they could be the right fit for the 2021 intake - who would decide online.

I knew just how to help :-)

Teaching staff are going way above and beyond at the moment - so I came up with a concept, wrote the plan (covid safe of course), and they checked I’d included everything they needed. This helped the project move quickly - it was incredibly fast - just three weeks from commission to delivery!

Getting a video doesn’t have to be complicated…

In this case, the client having minimal work to do was key, their input was critical but as much as they wanted to, time to work on this project was a luxury they simply didn’t have. That’s not a problem, I’m used to being proactive and just getting on with things.

I shot and edited four short videos, each addressing a different area:

  • Recommend

  • Courses

  • Support

  • Enrichment

The featured students were absolutely fantastic, it was all about their reactions and honesty - not having a script is both freeing and daunting!

Go on - have a watch:
